I’ve used Airtasker a few times now, and I don’t think the service fees are unfair. You can see the costs before you agree to anything, so there aren’t no nasty surprises at the end. It’s saved me a lot of time finding someone nearby for little jobs, and I don’t mind paying a bit extra when it makes the whole thing that quick and easy

I’ve used Airtasker a few times now, and my biggest gripe is the tasker profiles. A lot of them sound like they’ve got plenty of experience, but when you actually look, there’s barely any detail there. The wording can feel a bit misleading too, like someone lists themselves as “skilled” or “experienced” without showing any real work history, specific skills, or examples to back it up. Reviews help a little, but they don’t always give you enough to feel confident. I really think profiles should have to be more complete before someone can start taking jobs.

I’ve been getting alerts fast, so I’m not missing task updates like I used to. It’s been reliable so far no complaints from me at all.

I did eventually get help, so I’m not saying they completely ignored me or anything. But it took way longer than it should have. By the time someone finally stepped in, I was already frustrated. I get that things get busy, but waiting that long for support just isn’t okay

I liked that my Money stayed protected until the job was actually finished. It made the whole process feel way less stressful, and I wasn’t worried about things going wrong

I mostly remember it working fine when I was in town or nearby, so I can’t really complain there. Once I got farther out, though, it got weak from what I remember. If you’re usually in the right area, it’s okay.
